STARS from Emmerdale and Coronation will battle it out in The Big Soap Quiz.
The show, hosted by Stephen Mulhern, will see several cast members go head-to-head to find out who knows their soap best.

Tensions run high as the cast of Coronation Street and Emmerdale battle it out to find out who knows their soap the best.
Stephen Mulhern hosts the annual clash between ITV’s biggest soaps.
Both teams play rounds that test their knowledge of the past Year In Soap; their colleagues social media postings in Soapstars Off Set; and legendary double acts from the Dales and Weatherfield.
There are also surprises in store as Ken Barlow and Eric Pollard go missing in a game called National Treasure Hunt, and the teams are tasked with identifying their former co-stars in mysterious game Soapstars In The Shadows!.
Coronation Street
Heading up the Coronation Street team, is returning captain Jack P Shepherd.
The actor has played David Platt on the show since 1997.
Joining Jack is Sally Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe.
The actress is a Corrie veteran, and joined the soap in 1986.
She is also the mother of Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor.
Last, but not least we have actor Ryan Russell, who is known for playing Michael Bailey.
The TV star has been treading the Corrie cobbles since arriving in Weatherfield in 2019.
Emmerdale
Over on the Emmerdale team, their captain is Marlon Dingle star Mark Charnock, who is also back for another year.
He is a Dales veteran, and has been on the soap since 1996.
Another familiar face on Emmerdale is Nicola Wheeler, who has played her character Nicola King since arriving in the village in 2001.
Nicola and Mark are joined by Jurell Carter, who plays Nate Robinson.
Like Corrie’s Ryan, he is relatively new to the soap seen, and joined Emmerdale also in 2019.

The Big Soap Quiz: Coronation Street vs Emmerdale will kick off on Friday (December 9, 2022) at 9pm.

The Big Quiz first aired back in 2011, and has aired sporadically ever since.
