FAYE Windass is feeling the pressure of having to decide between a life with her daughter Miley and a future with Craig Tinker.

But could Jackson Hodge help her decide once and for all? Here’s what many fans expect to happen in Coronation Street.

Faye Windass is due to leave the cobbles in upcoming weeks

But could she cheat on Craig Tinker?

1. Affair bombshell

Big changes are ahead for Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) this week as the police constable reveals to Faye Windass (portrayed by Ellie Leach) that he’s received a secondment with the Criminal Investigation Department.

And with their recent engagement, everything seems to be lined up for the young couple – but could Jackson Hodge (Joseph William Evans) throw yet another spanner in the works?

ITV viewers are aware that the Underworld employee will be leaving the cobbles in upcoming weeks but could it be after she decides to cheat on Craig?

Fans believe all the evidence points to Faye embarking on a shocking affair with her former flame Jackson.

Coming up on ITV next week, Faye and Miley (Frankie-Jae Simmonds) are at the precinct when the young girl admits how much she’ll miss her mother.

Faye hides her emotions but Miley soon pressures her to move to Slough with her and Jackson – could she think it over?

While this remains to be seen, Craig tells Faye that he’s been given a secondment in the CID in later scenes.

Gary Windass (Mikey North) also questions Faye about her feelings for Jackson and she admits he tried to kiss her.

Faye insists she loves Craig and Jackson refuses to accept it.

This prompts Gary to take action by luring Faye and Jackson to the furniture shop and he urges them to talk things out.

Jackson stands his ground and tells Faye that she’s making the biggest mistake of her life by choosing Craig.

Meanwhile, Craig arrives at the Bistro and is taken aback to see all his friends and family there, with the exception of Faye and Jackson.

Noting their absence, he calls Faye’s phone and heads over to the furniture shop when he hears it ringing from there.

What will he find?

Daisy visits Ryan in hospital

2. Daisy comes clean

Meanwhile, Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) has been burning the candle at both ends as she tried to support Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) following his acid attack.

But after overhearing her badmouth him to Daniel Osbourne in the Rovers in previous scenes of the Manchester-based drama, Ryan has no more interest in allowing her to take care of him.

Little does he know that she’s also been impersonating his Ibiza love interest Crystal in an attempt to keep his spirits up.

Daniel recently learned the truth from his other hald and, this week, he urges Daisy come clean to Ryan.

Daisy follows Daniel’s advice and pays Ryan a visit at the hospital, where he was taken after suffering a setback in his recovery.

Ryan, however, makes it clear to her that he doesn’t need her pity when he’s got real friends like Crystal who genuinely care about him.

Could this prompt Daisy to finally tell Ryan the truth?

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Daisy actress Charlotte Jordan revealed that Ryan wouldn’t react well if he was to find out what the barmaid has really been up to.

“When Crystal says she doesn’t want anything to do with Ryan and she tells Daisy that she has to be the one to tell Ryan, Daisy doesn’t want to do this because she knows that he is already in a really negative, fragile headspace and she doesn’t want to be the person to bear even more bad news.”

“Daisy’s plan is totally the wrong thing to do and it’s absolutely ridiculous but it does come from a good place”, the soap star first explained.

She added: “Daisy is not doing this because she wants to cause trouble, she is doing this because she wants to give Ryan time to heal.”

But will Ryan understand?

Tracy and Steve are willing to fight for Amy’s truth

3. Intense court battle

Amy Barlow turned to the police when she told her parents, Tracy Barlow and Steve McDonald, about her rape ordeal.

Unfortunately, she was left to her own devices when the authorities deemed there wasn’t enough evidence to incriminate Aaron (James Craven).

After trying to keep up with her coursework, Amy has tried to warn Aaron’s former girlfriend Mia about his actions as she gave him another chance.

This week, Amy spots Mia again at the garage and tells her that Aaron raped her.

Mia is shocked but immediately accuses Amy of lying and making the whole thing up, while she assures Abi Webster (Sally Carman) she’s telling the truth.

In later scenes, however, Mia confronts Aaron over Amy’s rape allegation but he explains they slept together once and she cried rape before changing her mind.

Mia is appalled to think Amy is simply dragging Aaron’s name through the mud.

Things go from bad to worse when DS Swain calls at No.1, informing Amy that a serious allegation of harassment has been made against her.

Furious at the injustice, Amy decides to write about her whole ordeal before her father Steve (Simon Gregson) encourages her to post her document about Aaron on social media – and she follows his advice.

Trouble knocks on Aaron’s door when Abi and Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) read Amy’s online post which prompts them to tell the lad he can find himself another job.

Aaron’s father Eric, on the other hand, jumps in to support him and vows to make Amy pay.

Amy is surprised to find Eric on her doorstep in later scenes and he announces he’s suing her for libel.

She then receives a letter from Eric’s solicitor ordering her to take down her post or they will proceed with a lawsuit.

Steve advises her to stick to her guns despite Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) warning them that a libel case could end up costing them a fortune.

But after receiving Steve’s unwavering support, Amy is also fiercely protected by her mother Tracy (Kate Ford) who is adamant they’ll fight the case all the way.

How far could it all go?
