THEY have swooped into Walford with an almighty bang managing to cause disruption and chaos from the moment they stepped into The Vic.
The Knight family have sure made their mark on EastEnders but just exactly who are they and who are the A-list names and TV favourites portraying them.
The Knight’s are the new family in town
George Knight
George is the main man
He is the new man about town and looks set to take a charge over Albert Square.
George is played by A-list star Colin Salmon and so it is certainly not his first rodeo at taking on a huge role.
Colin is most famed for his role in the James Bond franchise, appearing as Charles Robinson in three of the movies.
However, he has now switched from the spy life to living the high life behind the bar of The Queen Vic.
It appears that George also has a rather colourful post, with it being revealed that he had a previous career as a top boxer.
Phil Mitchell even had a posted from one of his fights up in the boxing gym.
Could this be a prediction of a fiery side to George we are yet to see?
Anna Knight
Anna (left) is played by TV star Molly Rainford
Bubbly Anna bounced onto the square with her ditzy and happy-go-lucky personality.
She also owns a cute tiny dog that appears to be attached to her as an accessory in a nod to 2000s socialites such as Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.
Anna is played by singer and actress Molly Rainford who has enjoyed a career in the spotlight since she was a child and has many TV stints already under her belt.
She first came to prominence as a singer on ITV talent search Britain’s Got Talent and went onto release music before finding her feet in the acting world.
Molly went onto portray the title role in CBBC show Nova Jones before glistening on the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor just last year where she managed to reach the final.
And it seems that Anna is already on the lookout for love in Walford.
Molly said of Anna’s romantic ambitions: “We’ve come from Marbella, grown up quickly. She’s excited to explore the new eye candy on the Square rather than look for something too serious too soon, just excited to be there.”
Gina Knight
Gina (right) has already made an impression on Walford
Gina is the other daughter of George and already looks like she is set to stir up trouble on the Sqaure.
Her arrival into Walford was not met with the warmest reaction after she instantly got on the wrong side of some EastEnders icons.
She clashed with Kathy Beale in a bitter war of words at the cafe and later managed to offend Linda Carter after turning the upstairs living area of The Vic upside down.
Gina is played by stunning actress Francesca Henry, who is a relative newcomer to the TV scene.
It is Francesca’s biggest role to date but with the likes of Molly and Colin by her side, she is surrounded by the best.
She had previously enjoyed guest roles in shows such as Doctors and Silent Witness.
