Ultimate Team: The Most Popular Mode

EA SPORTS FC 24's highly popular mode, Ultimate Team, has always been a fan favorite. This competitive online mode not only tests your skills but also depends on the players you add to your team.

Accidental Gifting of Strongest Player

EA Sports accidentally gave away one of the game's strongest players, creating quite a stir among fans.

The Excitement of Ultimate Team Packs

Players can open EA FC 24 Ultimate Team packs, hoping to find valuable cards to enhance their teams. The higher the rating, the better the player. Icons like Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé boast ratings in the high 90s.

Million-Coin Cards

These highly rated cards can sell for millions of in-game coins on the transfer market, making them incredibly valuable and hard to obtain for most players.

A Rare Chance at Winning

While the chances of winning these cards through packs are slim, fans eagerly participated in the latest Squad Building Challenge, which promised an increased chance of grabbing a Team of the Year promo card with a minimum rating of 86+.

An Unexpected Error

However, a glitch in the system resulted in a large number of players pulling the ultra-rare 97+ rated Lionel Messi card. EA Sports quickly noticed the error and disabled the Squad Building Challenge, much to the disappointment and anger of players.

Player Frustration

This move not only left players who were late to the challenge without a chance to obtain the rare Messi card, but it also frustrated those who had worked hard to earn enough in-game coins to purchase the expensive card.

EA Sports' Response

In response to the error, EA Sports issued a statement saying, "We have identified an issue with the 86+ TOTY Leagues SBC, as a result we have disabled the SBC."

Hope for Compensation

Players are still hopeful that EA Sports will provide compensation for the error, although it's too late to recall the rare Messis.
