WENDY Crozier made a dramatic return to Coronation Street after a decade away from the cobbles.
But who plays Wendy and what do we know about her?
Who plays Wendy Crozier on Coronation Street?
Wendy is played by Roberta Kerr, an English actress who was brought up in Southampton, Hampshire, England.
Born on October 20, 1957, she is 64 years of age.
Kerr appeared on Coronation Street between June 1989 and May 1990 as Wendy Crozier.
Her character was notoriously known for being in a relationship with Ken Barlow (William Roache).

Kerr made further returns to the role from September to November 2012 and from June 2022 onwards.
Speaking to ITV about returning to the show, she said: “It’s great, fantastic. It’s a completely different place, of course, because the last time I was here it was 2012 and it was before they moved. It’s very, very new.”
The actress is married to fellow actor Graeme Kirk.
He has had several small roles in Corrie in the 80s and 90s and for many years he played Kenton Archer in The Archers.

Roberta’s other acting credits include minor roles in Brookside, Downton Abbey, Hollyoaks, The Nature of the Beast, Wipe Out, Medics, Casualty, Seeing Red, The Write Kit, Doctors and The Royal Today.
In between the first two stints on Corrie, she portrayed Jan Glover in Emmerdale.
She also starred in C4’s Brookside where she played a character called Sally Haynes.
What happened when Wendy returned to Coronation Street?

Wendy – now with the surname Papadopoulos – has been busy keeping Abi (Sally Carman) on the straight and narrow.
On July 18, Wendy and Ken Barlow finally came face to face after they last saw each other in 2012.
Telling Abi about her history with Ken, she said: “‘Ken and I had a bit of a thing back in the day. It ended up costing him his marriage.”
Wendy recalls how her affair with Ken took place in 1989-90, and caused him and his wife Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) to split up.
However, when the affair ended, Ken and his ex wife got back together again, although Deirdre was suspicious when Wendy started working with Ken.
Wendy decided to lie and cause drama by telling Deirdre that she and Ken had rekindled their affair.
When Ken found out, he told Wendy he never wanted to see her again.
In the new episode of them reuniting, Wendy is seen apologizing to Ken for trying to destroy his marriage.
“She knew,” Ken said. “Just like she knew no matter what the differences, that we were meant to be together. To the end.”
