Former Strictly Come Dancing star Molly Rainford, who reached the show's final last year, has revealed why she believes there are no romances forming on this year's series. Despite finding love herself during her time on the show, Molly thinks the contestants simply don't have time to date with all the rehearsals, preparation, and press commitments. She explained, "I genuinely believe everyone is just very, very good friends on the show and I don't think there are any romances going on just yet but we will have to wait and see!"

Romance on Strictly

Molly Rainford, who achieved fame on EastEnders, found both success on Strictly Come Dancing and a romance with fellow contestant Tyler West. The pair met during the show's arena tour earlier this year. However, Molly doesn't think the same will happen for the current crop of contestants.

No time for dating

Molly believes that the intense schedule of Strictly Come Dancing leaves little time for dating. With endless rehearsals, preparation, and press commitments, the contestants are simply too busy to pursue romantic relationships. Molly shared, "For me, speaking completely honestly, I don't think you have any time to date when you are on that show."

Good friends

The speculation about potential romances on Strictly Come Dancing has been in overdrive, but Molly insists that the contestants are just very close friends. While there have been rumors about favorite pairings, Molly doesn't think any romances are happening just yet. She said, "I genuinely believe everyone is just very, very good friends on the show and I don't think there are any romances going on just yet but we will have to wait and see!"

Fond memories

Molly, who recently celebrated her 23rd birthday, reflected on her time on Strictly Come Dancing. She described it as the most amazing experience and expressed her love for the new contestants, particularly Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola. Molly also showed her support for her former professional partner, Carlos, by saying she's "team Gu all the way".

Using her platform for a cause

Molly is using her platform to raise awareness about periods and puberty. She recently participated in Always' campaign to improve conversations around these topics. Molly believes it's important to break down the stigma and encourage open discussions about periods. She said, "It was really important for me to get on board with this campaign as I would have loved for it to be so much more normal to talk about my first period when I was just starting out."

Molly's involvement in the campaign is part of her ongoing efforts to use her influence to empower others and promote important conversations. She hopes that by sharing her own experiences, she can help normalize discussions around periods and puberty.
