Ellie and Molly Rainford were in the dreaded dance off during last night’s results show.

However, after Rylan’s chat with Paralympian swimmer he appeared to take a swipe at head judge Shirley.

“Give it up for Ellie and Nikita everyone,” the host said as he faced the camera.

Getting up out of his seat to move across the studio, Rylan jokingly ‘fell’ over a pair of heels.

“Shirley’s left them little shoes hanging about again,” the presenter said.

“Honestly it is a trip hazard,” the former Celebrity Big Brother winner added.

The gaff was poking fun at Shirley for always bringing her shoes into the studio to show dance technique.

The 62-year-old wowed viewers last night as she showed off her legs in a see-through dress.

She was on the sofa chatting to host Claudia Winkleman when viewers saw the frock in all its glory.

The light material revealed Shirley’s under garments and she teamed the frock with red heels.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One.
