Strictly Come Dancing fans are expressing their frustration with the judges, accusing them of "under-marking," after Bobby Brazier found himself in the bottom two. Despite former Come Dancing host Angela Rippon being eliminated in tonight's results show, viewers were shocked to see Brazier, an EastEnders star and former favorite to win, fighting for survival in the dance off.

Controversial Bottom Two

Brazier narrowly avoided elimination, with the judges ultimately saving him. The iconic Blackpool ballroom said goodbye to Angela Rippon, who had hosted the show 40 years ago. However, many fans believed that Brazier's inclusion in the bottom two was undeserved.

Standout Performance

Despite the surprising outcome, the judges themselves praised Brazier's performance with partner Dianne Buswell. Craig Revel Horwood even called it "standout," while Motsi Mabuse described the dance off as "marvellous."

Fans Speak Out

Viewers took to social media to express their disbelief and frustration with the results. Many argued that Brazier should not have been in the dance off, citing his brilliant jive as evidence of his talent.

One fan tweeted, "Bobby should NOT have been in the dance off. #Strictly"

Another wrote, "The correct result but I’m very shocked about Bobby being the bottom 2. His Jive was brilliant. Although it looks like the judges underscoring him is starting to have an effect on his place in the competition."

A third viewer added, "How on EARTH he was in the dance off is beyond me. One of the best of the night!!!!! "

Fond Farewell

During her farewell interview with presenter Tess Daly, Angela Rippon expressed gratitude for her time on the show. She described the past nine weeks as terrifying, fantastic, glorious, and joyful. Rippon also praised the team spirit and support from the professionals and highlighted her dance partner Kai Widdrington's role in her journey.

Rippon said, "He's an old soul on young shoulders. He's 28 and I'm 79, there's a 51-year difference in our ages. He has looked after me so brilliantly, he's a wonderful dancer, a great choreographer, but he's a terrific teacher…and he has the patience of a saint!"

Widdrington also expressed his admiration for Rippon and their friendship, despite the significant age gap.

With the competition heating up, Strictly fans will have to wait and see if Bobby Brazier can regain his footing and make a comeback in the upcoming weeks.
