Dozens moaned when he refused to give Helen Skelton a 10 but dished out another top score to Molly Rainford.

Helen achieved 37 points for her Argentine tango to Here Comes The Rain Again by Eurythmics with partner Gorka Marquez.

The TV presenter, 39, who has been working double shifts filming for Countryfile this week, received high praise from the judges.

Anton said: “What I enjoy about your dancing the most is the clarity, I can read your dances.

“You’re like stratospheres away from where you were. This real dark dance is right up your street my love.”

Despite the glowing verdict Anton refused to flash his highest padle.

Molly won another 10 from the judge for her emotional American smooth to Easy On Me by Adele.

Of Molly, Anton said she was an “old fashioned goddess of the silver screen”.

He added: “You carry yourself so remarkably well in this style of dance. It is unspeakably beautiful. That was perfect, wonderful.”

Viewers hit out on Twitter and one said: “Anton scoring Molly a 10 but only scored Helen a 9? ”

One more tweeted: “Has Anton been drinking!? His marking is WILD”

Others claimed Anton was over-marking some of the stars and said: “Why is Anton over marking? Not going to do them any favours with public vote!”

Another tweeted: “Uh oh, Anton’s over marking…….”

It comes amid accusations of favouritism from Shirley towards the male celebrity competitors.
