Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell appeared to make a subtle dig at her previous dance partners as she prepared for tonight's final with contestant Bobby Brazier. EastEnders actor Bobby, Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach, and Bad Education star Layton Williams will compete for the highly coveted Glitterball Trophy on BBC1. Dianne, who has been on the show for seven seasons, has only made it to the final once before in 2018 with her current boyfriend, YouTuber Joe Sugg.

Magical Moment

Expressing her excitement about reaching the final again, Dianne said, "It would be a real magical moment [to win]. I've dreamt of this moment many times, and there have been times when I thought it might not happen. This could be my year, the seventh year. And for Bobby, it's his only chance to lift the trophy. I've had an amazing time with Bobby, and I truly believe he deserves to win."

Cherry on Top

Bobby also shared his hopes for victory, saying, "Winning would be the cherry on top. Being in the final and giving it my all is already a great achievement, but lifting the trophy would be the ultimate reward."

Previous Partners

Dianne has faced disappointment in previous seasons, being eliminated early on with partners including Reverend Richard Coles, DJ Dev Griffin, and singer Max George. In 2021, comedian and actor Robert Webb had to withdraw from the show due to medical reasons. Last year, Dianne missed out on the final after being eliminated during the Blackpool week with radio presenter Tyler West.

Rumors of Romance

Rumors of a romance between Dianne and Bobby have been swirling, and Bobby recently fueled the speculation by praising her in a sweet video. In an interview for the BBC Strictly Instagram page, Bobby was asked about his favorite part of the show, to which he responded, "I think my favorite thing about Strictly is you." Dianne, touched by the comment, replied with an affectionate "Aww."

While Dianne mentioned that teaching someone to dance for the first time is one of her favorite aspects of the show, Bobby jokingly remarked, "Dancers have the world's ugliest feet, but they make up for it with strength and talent," as Dianne leaned on his shoulder.
