STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Dianne Buswell has spoken out about Saturday night’s “conflict” between her and judge Craig Revel Horwood.

The resident “Mr Nasty” shocked viewers on the latest live show when he only awarded Dianne and her partner, DJ Tyler West, a score of 6 for their Paso Doble, while others like Anton Du Beke awarded them a 9.

Dianne said she didn’t agree with Craig’s judging last weekend

The pair’s paso doble divided the judges

Craig said the dance “lacked any Spanish line whatsoever” and said: “This is meant to be a matador, darling. Out there, you were very square, it was very placed, it was very boxy. It just went from power position to power position.”

As a result of their scores and the live vote, the pair landed in the bottom two, but managed to avoid the dance-off when Tony Adams voluntarily withdrew from the competition after pulling a hamstring in his leg and couldn’t perform.

Speaking on It Takes Two on Tuesday evening, Dianne responded to what host Rylan referred to as a “conflict”, and said she didn’t entirely agree with his critiques.

“I mean, dance is so subjective, isn’t it? So it is one of those things,” she said nervously. “Obviously Craig… I understood exactly what they meant about the shaping and wanting more twists in it. 100%, I completely agreed.”

She then defended the dance, and said: “I feel there was Spanish lines in there, but I feel that it could have been rotated more so I get all that.

“But yeah, it’s just… if Craig didn’t like it, I can’t be in his head. I don’t know exactly why he didn’t love it. It’s just what they’re there for. Some might love it. Some might hate it.

“Everyone has a different opinion, and that’s just how the show goes, I guess. Just try and take on board what they say and try and come back, hopefully. We keep moving.”

This week, the couple are hoping to get back in the good books of Craig and the rest of the judges with
