Ellie, 22, and Vito, 31, joined hosts Ronan Keating and Lauren Laverne on the sofa ahead of their rumba on Saturday night.
From Zero to Hero
The Coronation Street star beamed as pro partner Vito held her hand and praised her for working hard each week. He told the presenters: "Of course we try every single time to give our best, we have to put so much commitment and put as much as we can in the moment. But mistakes happen, we're human. We started from nothing, zero. Ellie never danced before."
Enjoying the Journey
With the final fast approaching, presenter Lauren then asked how the pair are planning to secure a place in the final. Vito responded, "I said to Ellie, we don't want to think about the final being the final. We want to leave and enjoy every single week. Do baby steps, small and solid and if it comes, it comes. But we are very happy with what we are doing. We are having our journey, like a rollercoaster. It's amazing, I cannot put it into words how beautiful this journey is together."
A Sweet Moment
Looking at her affectionately, Vito held Ellie's arm and put one arm around her back. He continued, "To have met this beautiful," he then leaned in and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Ellie could be seen grinning from ear to ear as he pulled her in closely to him. Lauren gushed, "You two!"
Are They a Couple?
Speculation has been mounting that Ellie, 22, and Vito, 31, maybe an item due to their natural connection on the floor. However, after the former Coronation Street star took to Instagram with a photo of her "magical night," her former co-star might just have let the cat out the bag.
Posting an action shot of her latest dance, Ellie captioned the photo: "Thank you, thank you, thank you. What a magical night, we are so grateful for all of your support and we're soooo happy to be through to another week on that strictly dancefloor."
Praise from Fellow Co-Stars
And her fellow Strictly Come Dancing co-stars flocked to the comments section to lavish praise on the pairing. Former competitor Amanda Abbington said that the duo made the most "beautiful couple." She added, "You are the most beautiful couple," with a string of love hearts.

Speculation about the state of their relationship has been rife for weeks, and some fans are convinced they are more than just dance partners. Rumors were further fueled in week five after their red hot Paso Doble to Faithless's club classic Insomnia. Upon finishing the passionate routine, Vito placed a hand on his partner's cheek and pulled her in for a kiss, not once but twice.
