STRICTLY Come Dancing star Kym Marsh has opened up about pro dancer Graziano di Prima’s secret family tragedy.

Kym, 46, revealed she’s dedicating her performance this weekend to her son Archie, who tragically passed away shortly after his birth in 2009.

The pair’s dance this weekend will have a special meaning for them both

But the former Coronation Street star also told how their American Smooth foxtrot to the Snow Patrol ballad Chasing Cars will also have a special meaning to Graziano, 28.

In an exclusive interview with SE, Kym – who is also mum to David, Emilie and Polly – said: “I’m dancing for [Archie] this week.

“He’d be 13 years old now, a teenager. I can hardly believe it. In some ways it feels a long time has passed but in others it’s still very raw and vivid.

“But baby loss is a subject very close to my heart and something I have talked about many times, because the impact and the pain of that experience never leaves you.

“Dancing to that song will be hard, but it’s always been important to me to keep him in our memories.”

Kym shares Archie and Polly, 11, with her ex-husband, actor Jamie Lomas.

David, 26, and 24-year-old Emilie’s father is Kym’s ex Davide Cunliffe.

Speaking about Archie, Kym said: “We may not have had very much time together, and we never got to find out the little boy he would have grown into, how his laugh sounded or what football team he might have liked, but this means a lot to me.

Revealing how the dance will have a special meaning for her pro partner, Kym continued: “It’s also  something else Graziano and I have in common.

“He doesn’t mind me sharing this with you but people don’t realise he was  a twin but sadly they lost his twin at birth.

“So this weekend is for Archie, and also for Stefano, his brother. And we’re going to give it every-thing we can in their memory.”
