THE One Show took an awkward turn as Alex Jones scolded her co-star Harry Judd for spoiling the Strictly finale.

The Welsh presenter, 45, and McFly star Harry Judd, 36 hosted the latest episode of the BBC entertainment programme.

Alex said she was watching the Strictly final on catchup

Minutes into the show Harry jokingly revealed the winner and Alex looked annoyed but it was just a joke

But just minutes into the show Harry seemed to ruin the Strictly Come Dancing finale for poor Alex who said she was going to watch it on “catchup”.

The McFly star blurted out that Hamza Yassin had won the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Harry seemed to look anxious as he asked Alex if she knew who the winner was.

Alex then told Harry she was watching the final on catch-up.

Things then took a slightly tense turn as it appeared that Harry had made a slight on-air mistake while presenting.

But it was shortly clear that the two hosts were just acting up for the camera’s and trying to be funny.

Introducing the show, Harry said: “Now, if like me you’re struggling with the Strictly series coming to an end, as Saturday’s final saw Hamza and Jowita lift the glitterball trophy.”

Harry then jokingly asked: “Did you watch it, I assume?”

Alex then penned: “I’m watching on catchup.”

A comedic Harry then couldn’t resist making a cheeky remark, as he said: “Oh nice, well then I’ve just given a massive spoiler just then.”

Alex gave a cheeky grin, before sarcastically replying: “Thanks for that.”

She then added: “I did know.”

Countryfile star Hamza was crowned the winner on Saturday night alongside his dance partner Jowita Przystal.
