When is the final of Strictly Come Dancing?
The grand finale of Strictly Come Dancing 2022 will air this Saturday (December 17, 2022) at 7.05pm on BBC One.
It’s set to be an epic event with a massive two-and-a-half hour running time.
The movie-length episode will wrap at 9.35pm, with the winner being announced.
If you miss any of the action, you will be able to catch it again on the BBC iPlayer.
Who is in the final of Strictly 2022?
Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystał
Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystał are strongly tipped to win the coveted Glitterball Trophy.
They have wowed with their routines which has seen them top the leaderboard five times – which included the semi-final.
Before strutting himself on Strictly dancefloor, Hamza was best known for his work on BBC show Countryfile, as well as Springwatch and Animal Park.
Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez
This couple may not have topped the leaderboard, but have proved they have dancefloor chemistry.
Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez have shown they have got what it takes, and glided into the final.
Away from Strictly, Helen is best known for her work on Blue Peter, and Countryfile.
Fleur East and Vito Coppola
Fleur East and Vito Coppola will be hoping they get a better reaction from viewers vote after they ended up in the bottom two during the Strictly semi-final.
But the pair have had an incredible journey so far, which also saw them top the leaderboard in Blackpool.
Fleur shot to fame on The X Factor in 2014, which helped launch her pop career, and also appeared on I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here in 2018,.
Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu
Underdogs Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu have upped there game over the last few weeks of the competition.
After finding themselves in the bottom two on more than one occasion, they have secured their place in the big finale.
This isn’t Molly’s first time on a televised talent show.
She first found fame aged 11 when she became the youngest ever finalist of Britain’s Got Talent.
How many dances will they perform in the Strictly final?
The Strictly finalists usually perform three dances in the final – their favourite dance, a judges’ choice and a showdance.
The dances they will perform, and the songs they will dance to, will be revealed tomorrow (December 14, 2022).
The three dances will performed at different times in the evening.
