Football fans rejoice as highly anticipated video game series gets release date
Football Manager fans can start marking their calendars as the next installment in the popular video game series has finally been given a release date. Sports Interactive, the developer of Football Manager 2024, has confirmed that the game will be launching on November 6, 2023.
Exclusive offer for Netflix subscribers
In an exciting twist, Football Manager 2024 will be available for free to Netflix subscribers. The mobile version of the game will be a Netflix exclusive, allowing fans to download and play the game at no additional cost. However, non-subscribers will unfortunately not have access to the game.
Features and pricing details
Football Manager 2024 offers an immersive football management experience, simulating every aspect of a team's journey to success. With a vast and highly accurate database, the game has even been utilized by real-life football scouts for player recruitment.
The PC version of Football Manager 2024 is priced at £44.99 / $59.99, which remains unchanged from previous years. Console versions, which were once cheaper, are now priced the same as the PC version. Pre-orders of the game come with a 10% discount.
PC and Mac gamers who pre-purchase the game via Steam or the Epic Games Store will receive "circa two weeks" of Early Access. Xbox users will be able to access the game for free through Xbox Game Pass on the day of its release.
New features and additional details
Football Manager 2024 introduces a new feature called "Progress Never Stops," which allows players to transfer their careers from Football Manager 2023. This means that for the first time, players can continue their progress from the previous game on PC, console, and the Touch versions of Football Manager.
The game will also be available on Nintendo Switch in its Touch version, with more details about this version set to be released at a later date.
