LUSH Cosmetics has announced a new collaboration for the upcoming The Super Mario Bros. Movie, with a range of limited edition products.

The handmade cosmetics company will release eight products inspired by the Mario movie, including soaps, bath bombs, shower gels, and body spray.

The goodies on offer.

The big ticket item here is the iconic Question Block, which is a bath bomb with a unique twist that’s completely new to Lush products.

While it starts off as a normal bath bomb, as it dissolves it will reveal a special soap modelled after a Super Mario power-up.

There are six power-ups available, each with its own fragrance and design, and you can choose which power-up you get or pick a random one.

The Mario brothers themselves get their own shower gels, a red, cola-scented shower gel for Mario and a green, apple-scented shower gel for Luigi.

For those looking for something a little simpler, a bar of soap in the shape of a gold coin from the series is available too.

Bowser and Peach both get shower jellies, with Peach’s scented with peaches and pineapple, and Bowser getting a ‘fireside’ scent.

Princess Peach gets special treatment, though, with an extra product in the form of a body spray, also scented with peaches and pineapple.

Stephanie Kraus, the SVP of Global Design and Product Development at Universal, said: “The collection is innovative and iconic with surprise and delight elements inspired by the film, and we can’t wait for the reaction from fans”.

All of the products will be available in-store and online at Lush from today, and range anywhere from £4.50 for the gold coin soap to £30 for the Peach body spray.

You can also make a gift set using a number of their products which comes in a question block box.

It comes just in time for The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which is set to release in theatres worldwide on April 5, 2023.

The movie has drawn criticism from gamers over the casting of Chris Pratt as Mario, with many criticising his lacklustre voicework in trailers.
