Netflix Expands Gaming Offerings
Netflix is making a significant move in the gaming industry by adding a collection of three Grand Theft Auto games to its gaming service. The popular streaming platform has been steadily adding high-quality games to its mobile games platform, all available to subscribers at no additional cost. The GTA Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is an enhanced remaster of three classic games in the world-famous series.
Enhanced Remaster of Classic Games
The GTA Trilogy includes three beloved games from the early 2000s: GTA 3, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas. The Definitive Edition features higher quality models and textures, improved controls, and other enhancements. Both touch controls and paired Bluetooth controllers are supported on Android and iOS devices.
Download and Preorder Details
Players can download each game separately from the Play Store or the iOS App Store starting from December 14. Preorders are currently available on both platforms, allowing players to download the games as soon as they become available.
Anticipation for GTA 6
While fans eagerly await the release of GTA 6 on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5, Netflix's addition of the GTA Trilogy to its gaming service offers players a chance to revisit the classic games in the series. Rumors have been circulating about GTA 6 for months, and a trailer is expected to drop before the end of 2023. The release date for GTA 6 is yet to be announced but is anticipated to be revealed soon as part of the 25th anniversary for Grand Theft Auto.
