Steam Deck owners have access to big-name games like Elden Ring, which the Switch cannot run, making it an appealing option for gamers.
Furthermore, many indie games are exclusively launched on Steam, thanks to easier licensing for developers.
Interestingly, almost half of Steam Deck users primarily play indie games, indicating the popularity of this genre among players.
Price No Longer a Barrier
While the price has been a deterrent for some Switch players considering purchasing a Steam Deck, the situation has changed.
Valve is currently offering refurbished "like new" consoles at lower prices, making the Steam Deck more affordable than ever.
Many gamers are opting for the 64GB console and then expanding storage using cost-effective options like microSD cards.
