Massive Upgrade Unveiled at The Game Awards
PlayStation fans were in for a treat at The Game Awards, as Sony revealed a major free upgrade for one of its best exclusives, God of War Ragnarök. The upcoming DLC will feature new boss fights, weapons, and armor, providing players with an extended gameplay experience.
God of War Ragnarök: A Popular PS5 Exclusive
God of War Ragnarök, released in 2022, quickly became one of the most beloved PS5 exclusives. The game received critical acclaim and was nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards, narrowly missing out to Elden Ring. Now, Sony Santa Monica is giving back to the fans with this exciting upgrade.
Trailer Reveals a Sneak Peek
A trailer showcasing gameplay footage from the upcoming DLC was unveiled at The Game Awards. The minute-long video gave fans a glimpse of new boss and arena battles, as well as hints of an expanded storyline. Additionally, players can look forward to collecting new weapons and armor pieces.
Valhalla DLC Release Date and Surprise
Perhaps even more surprising than the DLC announcement itself is the release date. God of War Ragnarök Valhalla DLC will launch on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, giving fans just a few short days to wait. What's more, the DLC will be completely free for those who already own the base game. Players can expect Valhalla to automatically download once it becomes available.
