UBISOFT is suffering massive outages on its servers taking down a number of its online games.

Players have reported outages on a number of popular games from the publisher, including competitive online titles.

Assassin’s Creed is also affected.

Assassin’s Creed games from Unity onwards could be affected by the issues.

That means anyone playing Unity, Syndicate, Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla, may be unable to get online.

These games all have popular single-player modes, which will be available throughout the outage.

Worst hit are online multiplayer games such as Rainbow Six Siege, and Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

As these games are played online against others, competitive matches will be unplayable until servers are restored.

Fans are extremely disappointed in this as it has caused many to lose progress in their games.

Those who were winning matches as the servers went down, will not have their games counted towards their scores.

Many players are complaining about items used just before the outage which now appear to be wasted.

Rainbow Six Siege has items, such as Boosters, which allow its players to collect 150% more renown per match.

Ubisoft is aware of the server issues, which are occurring on all platforms, and is looking to correct the problems as soon as possible.

However, it has already been four hours and there is no current estimated time for the servers to be restored.

Those who lost items due to the outages will apparently receive a refund for them.

Ubisoft has urged players to open a ticket via Ubisoft Support so that they can gain their items back.

A statement reads: “We’re aware of an issue currently affecting connectivity for multiple games/services and are working towards resolving this.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience. Please be sure to check back for future updates. Thanks.”
