Sony has rolled out a surprise upgrade for PlayStation consoles, aiming to make it easier for gamers to conquer challenging levels.
Enhanced Game Help feature
Sony's Game Help feature, initially introduced in 2020, has now been revamped to offer even more assistance to players. The upgrade, named Community Game Help, provides gamers with the option to access gameplay videos from other players to overcome obstacles in their games.
This new feature allows players not only to benefit from the shared gameplay videos but also to contribute their own videos to help fellow gamers.
How does Game Help work?
Accessing Game Help is simple. While playing a game, navigate to the Control Center on your console. If Game Help is available for the game you're playing, it will be displayed on the card to the left.
By selecting the Game Help card, you can view a list of objectives and detailed instructions on how to progress through the game. Additionally, you may find videos on the card that offer visual guidance to help you succeed.
Community Game Help
With the introduction of Community Game Help, players can now watch real gameplay footage from other users to gain insights into different strategies for overcoming challenges. These user-generated clips are labeled as Community Game Help and can be rated for their usefulness.
To participate in Community Game Help, users can enable the feature in the settings menu on their PS5. By opting in, players' gameplay clips will be automatically captured, reviewed, and potentially shared as Game Help hints for others to benefit from.
Sony has announced that the Community Game Help feature will be gradually rolled out for select games, with plans to expand it to more titles in the future.
