A CERTAIN boyband hunk has dropped a big hint that he’s The Masked Dancer’s Cactus.
McFly star Dougie Poynter took to social media to post a snap of his blue guitar on his stories to his legion of followers.
The revealing snap of the blue guitar comes after guitars were spotted in Cactus’ VT on the Masked Dancer.
Fans of the hit ITV guessing game are already convinced that Cactus is Dougie, and shared their thoughts on social media.
One fan tweeted confidently: “Cactus is @DougiePoynter – 100%.”
The clues offered for Cactus in the character’s first appearance included guitars and links to performing or appearing in big venues.
He also said Busted – which led many to make guesses at members of that band, though Dougie also performed with McBusted.
Another viewer wrote: “Cactus is Dougie Poynter from Mcfly. 4 members in the band; busted = Mcbusted, Guitar pic, points of a cactus.”
Others tweeted: “Cactus – Dougie Poynter” and: “Cactus .. Dougie from McFly?”
Dougie is no stranger to reality shows, appearing on and winning I’m A Celeb in 2011.
However, other fans believe Cactus could well be an Olympic champion after spotting seven ‘clues.’
A handful think that the man behind the mask is none other than Usain Bolt, 36.
One fan pointed out on the discussion website that the prickly character incorporated the Bolt pose into their routine.
They explained that the character has made references to Mexico, a football team that he nearly signed to in 2018.
That isn’t the only football clue that Cactus as made as he’s also taken part in Soccer Aid.
They have also made references to “champions” and Usain is champion sprinter.
Cactus has lightening bolts on the piñata – which links to his surname.
