NICK Cannon announced he is now celibate after conceiving his eighth child and needed to “get his life under control” following Bre Tiesi’s pregnancy.

The Masked Singer host revealed he has another baby on the way just a few weeks after his five-month-old son, Zen, whom he shared with model Alyssa Scott, tragically died from a brain tumor.

The announcement came amid Bre Tiesi’s pregnancy announcement

Bre and Nick revealed they are expecting a baby boy over the weekend

Due to Nick, 41, still grieving the death of his newborn, fans were surprised when he announced he was having another child with another woman – his fifth in just over a year.

On Monday’s episode of his talk show, the TV personality told his audience that the latest pregnancy in his life made him rethink sex all together.

He revealed: “My therapist was one of the [people] who said that I should probably be celibate.

“Because I had shared that news, that Bre [Tiesi] was pregnant. That was the reason why I started my celibacy journey back then.

“I was [celibate] because I was dealing with [this]. I felt like my life was out of control.

“And honestly, the celibacy did help me through the journey of getting one with myself and dealing with this.”

The All That alum – who claimed he’s been abstinent since October – then admitted that having so many children with different baby mama’s has been a “challenge.”

However, he is still not ruling out expanding his family even more in the future.

“I just want to have as many children as I can … provide for and be a good father too.

“I want to be the best father that I could possibly be, but I’m not counting out ever having more children,” he added.

Back in October 2021, Nick first made the claims about staying away from sex.

He said on Wild ‘N Out at the time: “I told you, man, I’m celibate right now.

“I’m going to see if I could make it to 2022.”

Over the weekend, the mother of his child, Bre, 30, showed off her growing baby bump during their gender reveal party.

BABY BOY ON THE WAY

The event, which took place in Malibu, featured an array of pink and blue balloons to keep guests guessing on what the child’s sex will be.

It was discovered during the baby bash that they were having a boy – though a due date has not yet been revealed.

The comedian is already the father of seven children with four different women.

Nick and pop icon Mariah Carey, 51, are the parents of fraternal twins Monroe and Moroccan Scott, 10.

He shares Golden, four, and Powerful Queen, one, with model Brittany Bell, 34.

The Roll Bounce actor welcomed another set of twins, Zion and Zillion, with DJ Abby De La Rosa, 30, back in June 2021.

He also became the father of his baby boy, Zen, with model Alyssa Scott in July of that same year.

‘HEARTBREAKING’ TRAGEDY

However, back in December 2021, the Love Don’t Cost A Thing star revealed his five-month-old son Zen had died from a brain tumor.

He said of the devastating news: “Over the weekend, I lost my youngest son to a condition called hydrocephalus…brain cancer.

“It’s tough. And I have my therapist here, who’s been helping us through it.”

He went on: “We were hopeful, he was playing with his brothers and sisters. I embraced every moment.”

He praised Alyssa as the “strongest woman [he’s] ever seen.”

Nick mentioned Zen was “loving and fun,” but his “tumor began to grow a lot faster.”

He closed out his post with: “I’m feeling it. I’m vulnerable. I’m open. But I’m gonna make it through.

“And this is a special show, dedicated to my beautiful son Zen.”
