RITA Ora has FINALLY deleted her post about “doing nothing” on her birthday.

The singer, 30, has caused a lot of controversy over the past few months with her choices not to abide by Covid-19 rules put in place to stop the spread of the deadly bug.

Rita Ora has decided to start again with her social media page

Back in November Rita breached lockdown laws by hosting a lavish 30th birthday party at Casa Cruz in West London.

To make matters worse, she also broke the rules for a second time when she failed to quarantine after returning from a trip to Egypt.

The star – who has lost 300k followers since then – decided to start afresh and delete every picture from her grid.

She left many fans scratching their heads as to why she wiped everything from her profile.

Rita now has two posts on her page promoting her new tune

But it’s now been revealed it was all to promote the new music she’s created with DJ David Guetta – which will be out next week.

The Let Me Love You songstress uploaded a promo shot of all the artists involved with the caption: “FEB 12TH #BANG THE EP – Pre-order link in bio @imanbekmusic @davidguetta @gunna @khea.yf.”

A few hours later she uploaded another sexy snap of herself and wrote: “EXCITEDDDD!!! #BANG THE EP OUT FEB 12TH!! Pre-order/save link in bio!”

Last month fans were shocked that she STILL hadn’t changed her 30th birthday Instagram post – which claimed she “didn’t do anything to celebrate”.

The singer was branded “selfish” for her birthday celebrations

Rita was on the receiving end of some fierce backlash for her “selfish” decisions after she tried to keep it all a secret.

Alongside a picture of her munching on some cake, the singer told fans: “Me and cake and some trousers I couldn’t breathe in.

“Thank you for all the love it felt weird not doing anything for my bday so being me I dressed up and ate cake, also clock the hairspray on the table lol.

“Anyway, thank you for everyone who showed me endless love on my born day I’m forever grateful you all know who you are.

Rita Ora has apologised for her mistakes

“Today I’m going to finish the rest of my cake for breakfast lunch and dinner. Byeeeeeeeeee.”

Followers were stunned that the caption had not been changed since her rule-break was exposed.

After she was exposed for her reckless choices, Rita issued an apology and even volunteered to pay the £10,000 fine.

The Government imposed its second national lockdown from November 5 until December 2 2020, which stated people must stay at home at all costs, but Rita obviously thought differently.

Things haven’t been going well since for the star.

Earlier this month she was marched to a 14-day quarantine by armed police after landing in Australia for work.

And Rita’s love life has hit an all time low too as she recently split with producer boyfriend Romain Gavras.

The pair decided to call time on their six-month relationship because of lockdown struggles.
