MASKED Dancer fans reckon they’ve figured out exactly who Candlestick is from almost the first moment of the show.
The show returned tonight with a range of crazy new characters – including the waxy dancer.
Inititally, scores of people insisted Candlestick was ITV star ‘Judge’ Robert Rinder thanks to a reference to “court”.
One Masked Dancer viewer tweeted confidently: “Candlestick is Judge Rob Rinder.”
Another agreed: “We’re all thinking Judge Rinder aren’t we?” and: “putting it out there Candle = Judge Rinder.”
Another zeroed in one some of the other clues: “Lemon rind = rinder Just ice?! = JUSTICE it’s judge rinder.”
Oti Mabuse came to the same conclusion – naming the TV favourite as her first guess of the series.
However, some fans were left scratching their heads over some of the other clues.
One didn’t quite fit the bill, with host Joel Dommett announcing: “I need to let you know I went to Tinseltown on my way to success.”
The Candlestick squared off against Scissors as The Masked Dancer returned for a new series on ITV tonight.
Unfortunately for the waxy character, they came off second best to Scissors, who some reckoned was a Little Mix star.
Other stars performing tonight included Prawn Cocktail, Pillar and Post and Odd Socks.
The Masked Dancer is a spin-off of the enormously successful Masked Singer, which has been a big hit for ITV.
It will air every Saturday night this series, instead of on a nightly basis.
