THE Masked Singer has returned to our screens for its fourth season.
The ITV show has welcomed a fresh batch of 13 incognito celebrities to compete in the singing competition and one of those who hopes they can fool the judges is Jacket Potato.
Who is Jacket Potato on The Masked Singer?
The Masked Singer has introduced Jacket Potato to the competition.
And it is up to the star judges to try and guess just who they really are.
Jacket Potato is yet to perform on stage, but will go up against the likes of Jellyfish, Phoenix, duo Cat and Mouse among others.
The contestant’s costume consists of a silver jacket and pants, a shirt that looks like baked beans, cardboard container shoes, and yellow gloves.
Their mask is a giant potato split with cheese inside – they also wear sunglasses.
At this point in time, Jacket Potato’s identity still remains a mystery.
What have fans said about Jacket Potato?
As Jacket Potato is still yet to perform, there’s just one vocal clue about them which reads: “Their vocals are sure to get you creamed – it’s jacket potato!”
Many fans have speculated that Jacket Potato could either be a celebrity chef like Gordon Ramsay or Jamie Oliver.
As their costume has a sticker which reads “Wild Hog Dairy,” some believe there’s a chance it could be a farmer, such as Extraordinary Farming Lives star Amanda Owen or Our Farm in the Dales’ Matt Baker.
Another theory is that as a Jacket Potato is a popular lunch choice, it could be a reference to a Dinnerladies actress such as Maxine Peake, or perhaps Kym Marsh who is playing a dinner lady in the upcoming Waterloo Road season 11.
Who has already left The Masked Singer?
This season’s first elimination was Ghost, who was unveiled as former football star Chris Kamara.
After he was unmasked, Kamara said of his outfit: “I loved it. It was simple but that’s what I really liked about it.
“It was hard to sing in though.
“I never realised how hard that would be. It’s very claustrophobic.”
