RAIN warnings have been rolled out across large areas of the country today following a Guy Fawkes Night deluge.

It comes as yellow weather warnings have been rolled out by the Met Office for much of the south of England on Sunday.
A vast band stretching from the Kent coast across to Portsmouth in Hampshire is warning residents of torrential rain.
Those living in the affected areas should expect persistent downpours that are likely to cause flooding.
Up to 50mm of rain is expected in the worst affected areas of the yellow warning zone.
Some homes and business are at risk of flooding while bus and train services will likely be affected.
Spray on the roads will add travel times to journeys as drivers slow down, the Met Office warned.
The warning was brought in at around 1am this morning and will continue until 4pm on Sunday afternoon.
Heavy rain will also fall across the rest of the south and into East Anglia.
Less intense rainfall will be brought in by a thin band of rain stretching across the Midlands and into parts of the north.
Despite the torrential downpours in the south and south east, many will see variable cloud and even some sunny spells.
And temperatures will remain mild, with highs of 14C in London, 13C in Belfast, 13C in Plymouth, 12C in Hull and 10C in Newcastle.
From tonight, some showers will remain in the west and linger on the south coast.
But much of the rain will clear by this evening as patchy clouds gather overnight for many.
Tomorrow will see cloud and spells of rain spread eastwards, turning dull and damp for most, the BBC reported.
After a yellow rain warning the south-east may see some sunny spells develop at times, while it will be windy with local gales in in the west.
