KYM Marsh has broken her silence after becoming the latest celebrity to leave Strictly.

The ex-Corrie star, 46, had returned to the dance floor after testing positive for Covid and performed a cha-cha-cha to Fame with partner Graziano Di Prima, 28.

Kym Marsh was sent home over the weekend

She went up against Molly in the dance off

She faced Molly Rainford in the dance-off after finding herself at the bottom of the leaderboard with 34 points and was ultimately sent home.

Following her axe, Kym shared a heartfelt post thanking her pro partner and her family.

She wrote: “Thank you so much to everyone who supported us throughout this competition! We had such a great time! I will never forget this moment in my life.

“I have made a friend for life in @grazianodiprima but I have to say a huge Thankyou to my family.

“My husband, my son, my daughter, their partners, my parents, my siblings, I could not have got through this without them! I love you my beautiful family!

“Graziano you are now an honorary Marsh!! We love you. Thank you for the fun, the laughter and thank you for showing me that I am stronger than I think! Love you!! ❤.”

On the show, Kym  spoke of wanting to make her father, who has been receiving treatment in hospital following a prostate cancer diagnosis, happy.

She said: “My dad has been so proud and it’s kind of kept him going.

“When he was in hospital last week, and obviously we weren’t here, all these guys sent him videos and it meant such a lot.

“My grandchildren are so proud.”
