Love Island’s Sammy Root, who recently split from Jessica Harding, is wasting no time in moving on to his next venture in the world of reality TV. The 22-year-old has expressed his interest in joining the cast of Celebs Go Dating.

During an appearance on the Staying Relevant podcast with Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks, Sammy revealed his desire to continue working in television. When asked about the possibility of joining Celebs Go Dating, Sammy responded with enthusiasm, saying, “Possibly.”

Explaining his motivation behind wanting to stay relevant, Sammy stated, “You can see it as just being on TV. Everyone knows who you are, but also just staying relevant as in making a career out of doing something you want to do.”
Post-Split Connections
Since breaking up with Jess, Sammy has been linked to other Love Island contestants, including Faye Winter. Recently, he was seen at the Pride of Britain awards with his arm around Faye, sparking further speculation about their relationship.
