Dancing On Ice 2024 winner revealed in tense final after injured star pulls out hours before show

ACTOR Ryan Thomas won Dancing On Ice 2024 tonight after a tumultuous final day that saw one star left in hospital.

He beat Made In Chelsea star Miles Nazaire, 28, and Radio One DJ Adele Roberts, 45, after Olympian Greg Rutherford, 37, was forced to pull out hours before the live show.

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern told former Coronation Street actor Ryan, 39, he had won following a dramatic final that saw Miles slip on the ice.

Ryan was paired with newcomer Amani Fancy on her debut on the UK series, and her thanked her for getting him to the series finale.

The TV said: “It’s up, down, physically and mentally dakes you to a place you have never been before.

“This is for her (Amani).”

Bookies favourite Greg Rutherford was forced to pull out of the competition.

The track athlete suffered a nasty injury during rehearsals which saw him taken to hospital.

Greg’s professional skating partner Vanessa James told their fans on Sunday: “Unfortunately Greg has sustained a significant injury this morning at rehearsals and won’t be able to perform tonight.

“We are on our way to the hospital for Greg to get examined further and receive the treatment he needs.”

Later on, his fiancé Susie shared a video of him in hospital.


Dancing on Ice coach Karen Barber also broke down in tears on the show and was comforted by Holly after they shared an update on Greg’s condition.

Holly and Stephen addressed the elephant in the room, revealing Greg had pulled out of the competition after an accident in rehearsals.
