THIS year’s Dancing on Ice finalists have been revealed amid what some viewers have branded a ‘fix storm’.

For the first time ever, the ITV contest will have four finalists as opposed to three as has been usual in the past.

Miles Nazaire skated through to the final

Adele Roberts beat Amber in the skate-off

Following the latest semi-final, West End star Amber Davies was axed after finding herself in the dreaded skate-off for the third week running.

Amid the disappointment that Amber had fallen at the final hurdle, despite receiving a perfect score of 40, her co-stars were left over the moon that they had made it all the way to the end of the contest.

Former Coronation Street hunk Ryan Thomas, Made in Chelsea heartthrob Miles Nazaire and Olympian Greg Rutherford have all made it to the final week as well as BBC Radio star Adele Roberts after she survived the skate-off.

However, the show has already been hit with backlash over its finalists.

Many viewers have been left insisting that the show’s end result is ‘fixed’ as they were left complaining online.

Others took issue with Adele being the only woman to make the final despite it being opened up to more competitors than ever before.

No woman has won the ITV contest for 11 years when gymnast Beth Tweddle picked up the trophy.

Since then only 5 women have made it through to the contest’s final in the form of soap star Brooke Vincent, singer and The X Factor star Saara Aalto, sporting star Libby Clegg, actress Faye Brookes and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt.

Hitting out at the show, one fan said online: “I need Ofcom to be flooded with complaints because how can a talent show get away with blatantly rigging for men?”

Another added: “This show just doesn’t like women to get into the final.”

Before a third said: “Two women in the bottom, shocker.”

Elsewhere, fans were also left insisting that the night’s scoring had been ‘fixed’ in order to create a level-playing field.

The show kicked off with a solo skate challenge which saw the celebs ranked from one to five based on their ability.

These scores were then added to their regular performance.

Amber scored just a one during the solo skate but her top score of 40 took her to a total of 41.

Greg performed the best in the solo skate and acquired a five before managing to get just 36.5 in his performance.

In the end, only one full point separated all of the celebs which some viewers called into question.

One unhappy viewer raged: “What a complete fix! I had the scores marked out clearly 30 minuets ago, they just made it level pegging.

“Solo skate meant f*** all.”

As someone else echoed: “I knew that’s why Amber came last in the solo skate… call me sceptical but it’s all a fix to balance it all out score wise.”
