Regan Gascoigne, who won the competition in 2022, told how his rehearsals for the Take That musical Greatest Days was causing upset with his neighbours.

In a video of him singing, a buzzer could be heard going off before 28-year-old Regan’s phone started to ring.

He wrote: “This is actually gunna be my last video until I can get somewhere alone!

“The buzzer is actually the neighbour trying to shut me up! God forbid what I’m to do if I get another casting with more songs to learn.”

But Regan’s post left fans divided, with one commenting: “No respect for your neighbours then.”

Another said: “Maybe get a better space to use such loud music. Not exactly the best thing to hear when ya trying to sleep!”

And a third added: “Stay positive and find a studio space to rehearse in instead.”

Regan is the son of former footballer Paul Gascoigne and the half-brother of reality TV star Bianca.

He won Dancing on Ice with professional partner Karina Manta, beating off competition from runners-up Brendan Cole and Vanessa Bauer.

Regan, who was also joined in the Dancing on Ice final by Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, previously revealed he was surprised to be asked to do the show because he “wasn’t known”.

He said: “When I started I was genuinely shocked when I got asked to do Dancing on Ice.

“I’m not even known and they always get really big people to do the show.”
