Greg was supposed to skate up against Ryan Thomas, Adele Roberts, and Miles Nazaire in the Dancing On Ice final last Sunday.

But unfortunately the long-jump champ hurt himself while training on the morning of the finale, meaning that he couldn’t take part.

Since his injury, Greg has kept fans up to date with his health on social media.

The star shared a selfie of himself in the back of a car, heading to the hospital again.

Greg captioned the post: “Off to see a man about a scalpel.”

Earlier this week the DOI legend revealed that his stomach is ‘not in a good way’ and has had to see a specialist over his horror injury.

Walking around his home, Greg said on Instagram: “Good morning everyone, just thought I’d check in and give you a little update.

“I’m moving around a little bit better today which is nice. Loads of people asking exactly what’s happened.

“I’ll be able to give a full rundown tomorrow.

“I’m seeing a specialist to figure out a plan of action and everything else, but my stomach is not in a good way and it’s gonna need fixing.”

Days before Greg revealed he was up and about after being in hospital.

He shared a snap of his Dancing On Ice skating pro partner Vanessa James while enjoying a bite to eat at breakfast.

The previous night Greg’s fiancee Susie Verrill reassured fans that Greg was on the mend.

Greg missed out on the top spot to Corrie legend Ryan Thomas.

The soap star insisted that his performance would have won after the gutted sportsman shared a clip of their routine online.

Greg captioned the post: “Something that I really wish I could have performed… #Bolero

“Im almost 36 hours since the injury and watching the videos of what could have been.

“It’s bloody hard to take at this point as I know we could have shown something exciting and new with our final performances.

“Of course the Bolero isn’t a given and I’ll post our showcase at some point too… I haven’t shown the end as I’m determined to actually perform it with Vanessa one day for everyone to see.

“I’m really proud of what we achieved on the show.

“This take was from Saturday morning and we were marking for the double twist… the full program was truly beautiful.

“I’m a bit heart broken at the moment @vanessa_james_sk8@dancingonice

“Do you think me and Vanessa should get together again and perform it live one day?”
