JUST weeks after speculation started that Holly Willoughby and Rylan Clark  were set to team up, it seems that another key clue has landed.

The pair were seen alongside each other in the trailer for the new series of Ant n Dec’s popular ITV show, Saturday Night Takeaway.

Holly and Rylan appear together on Takeaway, but could this be the sign of whats to come

Although Rylan has denied they will front a show together, anything is possible in showbiz

It seems that both Holly and Rylan will feature in the telly double act’s famous prank section, where the presenters perform side splitting stunts in public.

This will see Holly and Rylan reunited on screen since appearing together for various stints on ITV’s This Morning.

TV star Rylan, 35, has been teasing the news about his joint venture with Holly for sometimes.

Earlier this month he posted a snap of them together, cryptically captioned: “Coming Soon.”

Other celebrities who feature in the trailer include Cheryl, making her ITV comeback, ten year since leaving the X Factor.

Music mogul Simon Cowell and presenters Davina McCall, and Amanda Holden in the series that will mark the Geordie duo’s final run, before taking time out.

In an exclusive interview with HOAR, Rylan said:  “All I can say is me and Holly have done something and you’ll find out what it is very soon!

When pressed for more details, he added: “Put it this way, we’re not doing a show together but all will become clear…”

Four months after she sensationally quit This Morning, Holly made a much lauded return to telly as the host of ITV’s Dancing on Ice, alongside Stephen Mulhern.

Although her long term future in TV is yet to be announced, her appearance on Saturday Night Takeaway as well as her return to Dancing on Ice, suggests that she has no intention of turning her back on showbiz.

The 43- year-old left her presenting role on This Morning after 14 years in October after it was revealed that she was the alleged victim of a foiled kidnap plot.

In a statement she said: “This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we’ve done together. I will not be returning to This Morning.

“Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive. To every guest who has sat on our sofa, thank you.

Her exit came towards the end of a tumultuous year on the daytime show following her co-host Phillip Schofield’s decision to step down in May, after he admitted to a relationship with a younger co-worker while he was married.

Questions were then raised over how much Holly knew about the affair, having worked so closely with Phil for so many years.

Watched by millions, even the UK’s biggest celebs can’t resist popping up on takeaway when invited

Amanda Holden makes no bones about showing up on screen at every opportunity

Those who thought they’d seen the last of Holly were sorely mistaken when she popped back to present Dancing on Ice
