LOVE Island star Tasha Ghouri has hit back at cruel trolls who “sl*t-shamed” her pal Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu over her “sexy” Dancing on Ice outfit.

The Turkish beauty, 28, triggered more than 100 complaints last week when she wore a see-through catsuit to Britney Spears’ Toxic.

Tasha, 24, has defended Ekin-Su’s performance, saying no woman should ever be subject to those kind of derogatory comments.

Speaking exclusively to HOAR, Tasha said: “I think Ekin is killing it and it’s a shame to see her in the bottom because I think she got sl*t-shamed massively for what she was wearing.

“I think she was covered up, she looked beautiful and unreal.

“She looked sexy and of course the routine was a sexy routine and she brought that fire, that energy.

“Maybe not everyone enjoyed that, but I think she smashed it and she’s killing it every single way.

“I’m going to support her massively because no girl should ever get comments like that.”

Despite landing in the bottom two and facing the first skate-off this series, Tasha is convinced that the fiery brunette will come back fighting.

“Ekin pulls through always, she’ll come back stronger,” Tasha told us at The Dirty Dancing Gala on Wednesday.

“The comments might have knocked her down a bit, but she’s going to come back stronger and she’s going to kill it.”

This Sunday Ekin will cover up as movie nun Maria von Trapp from the 1965 classic The Sound of Music, which famously featured the song “So Long, Farewell”.

Watchdog Ofcom received 112 moans from viewers over Ekin- Su’s diamond-encrusted, nude body stocking last week.

She landed in the skate-off, where she beat ex-footballer John Fashanu, 60.

Ekin-Su admitted she was “very nervous” beforehand and her “confidence had been knocked down”.

She told HOAR this week: “I’m grateful to be in the show and I’m grateful to be doing another week.

“I take on board every criticism – I just want to improve every week and bring different elements to my performance.”

She cannot wait for Sunday, when she will dress up as matriarch Maria in a musicals-themed show with pro partner Brendyn Hatfield.

She gushed: “This week is Musicals Week which is my favourite week!”

However, in a huge shake-up, this week there will be no skate-off — which will ramp up the pressure on the celebrities.

Couples will be scored by the judges, and those will be combined with the public votes, with the lowest-ranked couple leaving.

A source said: “It means the celebs have no safety net – there’ll be no saving of favourites, or forgiving a misstep. The stakes are higher than ever.”
