I’M A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec were forced to defend campmate Boy George after viewers accused the star of being ‘two faced’.
The pop icon, 61, has not been afraid to let the rest of his co-stars know what he thinks of them over the past week.
Since entering the jungle and living with 11 other people, Boy George has be open about how he finds living with people a little difficult.
Last night he opened up about his opinions on the camp dynamic to comedian Seann Walsh, 36.
Boy George said that he felt like they are not “being themselves” as he watched them play a game of What’s The Time Mr Wolf?
After the episode aired, Ant and Dec went live on Instagram to discuss the drama with fans.
One viewer thought that George has been “causing drama”, to which they said: “You like drama. That’s the whole point.”
Ant continued: “I like the fact George is very set in his ways and he’s not going to pretend to be somebody is not.
“He’s his authentic self and that’s good.”
Another viewer accused the singer of wanting to “cause trouble”.
Ant added: “I don’t think he does. He thinks some people in there are fake.”
Dec chimed in: “I don’t think he is two-faced. He’s telling everyone what he’s thinking. He told Matt what he thought.
“It took a little while but he did.”
During Saturday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity, Boy George called his campmates “The Brady Bunch”.
But Seann replied: “I’d rather be The Brady Bunch than there be conflict.”
The Karma Chameleon singer, who said he felt like he’s at a party he’s not invited to, added: “People aren’t being themselves and I see it.”
Earlier this week fans turned on Boy George – with one branding him “toxic” and insisting they want him out of camp.
The singer has proved one of the most direct campmates, and even told Matt Hancock that he’d been “hating” on him.
