I’M A CELEBRITY’S Ant and Dec have taken their first “evening Prime Minister” jab at Rishi Sunak in an epic double swipe against him and new campmate Matt Hancock.

The ITV jungle series welcomed the former health secretary onto the show this evening alongside Seann Walsh, and couldn’t resist taking a swipe at the ever-changing government and the new Prime Minister.

“I still can’t believe Matt Hancock is in the jungle,” Ant told Dec.

“Me neither. Tell you who else can’t believe it… Ed Sheeran,” Dec responded, in a clear jab at Hancock’s efforts to sing the popstar’s hit Perfect within minutes of arriving.

“I’m not sure how Matt’s going to cope in camp though,” Ant added. “Surrounded by people who don’t know what they’re doing, making it up as they go along and just trying to get by day-to-day.”

Dec then stared at the camera and knowingly said: “Evening Prime Minister… you know how that feels don’t you?”

He later added: “By the way, who am i talking to there? Who is it this week? Is it still Rishi?”

“I think so,” Ant responded. “But they’re probably due a new one before Christmas.”

It seems they weren’t the only one baffled by Hancock’s appearance, with Charlene White wasting no time in grilling him on why he was even there when, as an MP, he should be in active parliament.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV.
