CHRIS Moyles has opted for radio silence towards one of his I’m A Celeb campmates in a secret sign of a feud.
The Radio X DJ, 48, made his feelings about co-star Matt Hancock MP, 44, well and truly clear – with scathing rants both in and out of camp.
Now Chris, who didn’t make it to I’m A Celeb‘s final or semi final stages unlike third-placed Matt, appears to have dealt the ultimate social media snub.
While he is following many of his fellow co-stars from his Instagram profile, Matt’s account is noticeably absent from his following list.
It comes after Sue Cleaver also opted not to follow the MP for West Suffolk, sparking suggestions of a feud.
Previously discussing MP Matt Hancock being in the jungle alongside him, Chris had detailed a “tense” conversation with the former Health Secretary.
He said: “There was a moment we got into a conversation and it got quite tense, I said, so when’s your book out? And he was like next month and I didn’t know he had a book.
“The reason I got annoyed is because Seann, who did something in his personal life and it hurt his career and mental health, came on the show to basically say I’m really not a bad guy can I start again – which is really honest.
“Matt Hancock kind of dived around a few questions I thought, and then said ‘I’m basically asking for forgiveness’ and at which point I had to walk out of camp and just get away, because I personally found that quite fake and it really wound me up.
“Then I had to separate Matt Hancock MP from Matt who was in camp, who was doing his best at trials to try and win us food.
“As a camp mate he did an amazing job, and as a guy he lives in a different world to you and me, but he’s a human being, so I had to have two people, there’s Matt Hancock who I have issues with and then there’s Matt who is in the jungle. It sounds almost like an excuse but that’s the only way myself and some of us could deal with it.”
Chris continued to explain that he tried to get Matt to admit he “wouldn’t be a politician” after the show.
He continued: “l tried to get him to admit he won’t be a politician anymore and leave politics and won’t be an MP any more, but he never did.”
Yet Matt’s fans were quick to defend the semi finalist, who eventually finished up in third.
They suggested DJ Chris was in fact booted out because of his snide remarks about Matt during his time in camp.
I’m A Celeb fans suggested that Chris’ popularity quickly plummeted when he began “whinging” about Matt.
Yet Chris was over the moon to see girlfriend Tiffany Austin, who he has been with since 2015, when he was evicted and posed for snaps at the end of the iconic bridge.
