I’m A Celebrity fans are expressing their frustration after what they perceive to be the “wrong stars” ending up in the bottom two during the latest episode. Nick Pickard, 48, became the fourth star to be eliminated from the ITV series after spending 19 days in the jungle. He went head-to-head with Josie Gibson, 38, as presenters Ant and Dec announced the verdict live from camp. However, viewers were left angry that Pickard was sent home, claiming he was given very little airtime. Some were also surprised that Nigel Farage, a controversial contestant, has managed to remain in the competition for so long.

Accusations of a Fixed Outcome

A number of fans took to social media to express their suspicions that the show is fixed, with one person stating on X, formerly known as Twitter, “I’m a Celebrity is fixed, Nigel Farage will win. Turn it off now.” Another viewer commented, “Thanks to I’m a celeb for hardly showing Nick, it’s obviously fixed when they only show certain people 80% of the time.” There were also complaints that Nigel Farage is still in the competition while someone as well-liked as Nick was eliminated, leading some to believe that the outcome is rigged.

Reaction from Nick Pickard

Despite his elimination, Nick Pickard remains positive about his time on the show. The actor, best known for his role as Tony Hutchinson in Hollyoaks, appeared on Good Morning Britain and spoke about his experience. He described it as “overwhelming” and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity. Pickard also shared his support for fellow I’m A Celebrity alum Sam Thompson to win the competition.
