I’m a Celebrity Feud: Stars “Winding Up” Fred in Cooking Row

Viewers of I’m a Celebrity have noticed a potential feud brewing in the jungle, as two stars appear to be “winding up” former camp chef Fred Sirieix in a cooking dispute. The First Dates star, aged 51, handed over the reins to Josie Gibson, 38, and Tony Bellew, 41. However, Fred grew frustrated when he noticed they were doing things differently. Josie forgot to soak the camp beans for breakfast, and Tony’s pan placement on the fire wasn’t up to Fred’s standards.

Argument Brewing

Observant viewer Nick Pickard noticed the brewing argument and even commented on it in the Bush Telegraph. He said, “Last night, chef Fred found it hard handing the reins over to chef Tony and Josie. This morning’s breakfast service is going to be interesting to see how he copes because I don’t think he did too well last night.”

In camp, Fred questioned Josie about the beans, to which she admitted she hadn’t soaked them. He also provided guidance to Tony about the placement of the pan on the fire. In the Bush Telegraph, Fred expressed his hopes that they would cook breakfast properly, as poorly cooked rice can taste bitter and ruin the morning.

Josie, in turn, mentioned that she and Tony are now the chefs, with Tony taking on the role of pot wash. She stated that only she and Tony can handle the cooking duties, leaving Fred out of the equation.

Viewer Reactions

ITV1 viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the situation. Some defended Fred, recognizing his expertise and desire for quality food in the camp. Others felt that Josie was being dramatic and not receptive to Fred’s advice.

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
