Nigel Farage, the former politician and recent contestant on I’m a Celebrity, has seemingly confirmed that he received an eye-watering seven-figure pay check for his time on the show. The rumored fee was £1.5 million, making Farage the highest paid campmate in the history of the show.
Money was a factor for Farage
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Farage was asked by Susanna Reid if the figure had convinced him to do the show. He replied, “The money, of course, what’s wrong with that? I gave up a very successful career in the city of London – colleagues of mine are on the rich list, I never moaned, never complained. Is this the biggest pay check I’ve ever had? Yes it is.”
Third place finish for Farage
In the final episode of I’m a Celebrity, Farage came in third place, with Tony Bellew as the runner-up and Sam being crowned the King of the Jungle. After spending three weeks in the camp, Farage was reunited with his girlfriend Laure Ferrari on the famous bridge.
