Josie Gibson, the This Morning presenter, has disclosed that she had a hidden confrontation with one of her I’m a Celebrity campmates that was never aired on screen. Unfortunately, Josie narrowly missed out on a spot in the I’m a Celebrity final and was sent home last night.
Clash in the camp
Speaking to hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly after her elimination, Josie opened up about her clash with Fred Sirieix over cooking for the camp. Josie revealed, “I was trying to cook and Fred was criticising everything I do. I think I put him straight at the end. In the end, I just had to settle it with a showdown. We had a showdown in the end and I won.”
Fans express disappointment
Viewers took to social media to express their disappointment over the unseen row. Many questioned why the showdown was not included in the show. One fan wrote, “Why wouldn’t you show the showdown?” Another tweeted, “So Josie and Fred had a showdown but ITV decided not to edit it in, such a shame.” A third added, “I want to see Josie and Fred’s showdown!”
No mention of Nigel Farage
During her exit interview, Josie sparked new feud rumors as she failed to mention one of her remaining campmates. When asked to pick a winner, Josie praised both Sam Thompson and Tony Bellew but omitted Nigel Farage from her compliments. She said, “Sam has just got a magic about him, he’s been entertaining from the moment he wakes up to the moment he goes to sleep. He’s lifted me when I’ve been at my lowest and he’s just so charming. But Tony again, he’s just so chivalrous, he’s just a proper gentleman and a proper family man. I love the way he talks about his family.”
