ITV producers want to bring back controversial star for a third stint on the show
Katie Price is reportedly being lined up for a sensational return to I’m A Celebrity as part of the All Stars series. The pre-filmed show, known as I’m A Celebrity South Africa, is set to return in 2024, and producers are keen to “spice up” the lineup by bringing back some of the more divisive characters from the show’s history.

A source revealed, “Bosses were nervous to cast Katie in the first All Stars as they wanted to play it safe with names who wouldn’t do or say anything too controversial. But this time around, they want to make a bigger splash by bringing back some of the bigger, more divisive characters. Katie is high on the wish list. Love her or hate her, people can’t stop talking about her and that’s the kind of draw card the South Africa series was lacking last time around.”
Katie is open to the idea
Pals of the star believe Katie would be keen to return to the jungle. “Katie made no secret of the fact she felt ITV snubbed her by not asking her to return to the jungle for a third time, but she would certainly be keen to go back. The pre-recorded element would appeal to her too, as it would mean the public couldn’t keep voting for her to do the trials, which was one of the reasons she walked the second time around.”
A history with the show
Katie famously appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2004, where she met her ex-husband Peter Andre. She returned to the show in 2009 but left after a week when she was voted to do every trial. Reflecting on her regrets, Katie said, “When I look back at the challenge, I wish I stayed and did it. Maybe there’s a third time lucky.”
ITV and Katie have yet to comment on the rumors surrounding her potential return to I’m A Celebrity.
