STRICTLY love rat Seann Walsh has revealed his big jungle fear is — rats.
The comedian, caught smooching pro dancer Katya Jones while in a long-term relationship, spoke before entering the I’m A Celebrity camp as a late arrival.
Seann, 36, said: “I am not too pleased about rats being in there.
“I am not naturally a brave man — my tactic is to pretend it is not happening until we must do whatever it is.”
In 2018 he was snapped kissing Katya outside a London pub, spelling the end of his romance with girlfriend Rebecca Humphries and leading to dancer Neil Jones calling time on his six-year marriage with Katya.
Seann — spotted looking dishevelled on his hotel balcony yesterday — has tried to rebuild his image and is now expecting his first child with girlfriend of three years Grace Adderley, 30.
He said: “People have voiced their feelings about me and I am hoping they will see I am very different. I want to create new memories.
“Over the years, I’ve read a lot of things about myself and you know, it does hurt.
“I’d love for it to be a kind of new start — and just maybe change opinions. That would be really nice.”
Seann continued: “As you can imagine I was very scared, after the last time I was on a big show, because the fallout was not something you would want to go back to.
“Grace talked me into doing it. She convinced me it was the wrong attitude to have, not doing it, because I feared what people would think.
“It seems that every single person that does the jungle says it’s the best experience of their life — so I’m up for that.
“I’m up for the best experience of my life. Who wouldn’t be?”
But he confessed he would be “absolutely astounded” if viewers crowned him King of the Jungle.
He added: “I tend to be someone who doesn’t think about that sort of thing.
“I want to make some new friends and new memories and have a nice time.
“The idea of sitting around the fire with people who have probably won gold medals, pop stars and actors putting the world to rights is exciting.”
Yet he looked worse for wear on the balcony of a £2million villa in Kingscliff, New South Wales, where he is in Covid isolation.
Wearing an unbuttoned shirt and shorts, was seen clutching a book before chilling by the private pool.
The five-bedroom pad is a five-minute drive from Matt Hancock’s isolation mansion, and 50 minutes from the jungle.
An onlooker said: “Seann looked like he’d had a rough night having been living in luxury — so God knows how he’ll cope in the jungle.”
