VIEWERS of Love Island have been left absolutely gobsmacked after finding out the real age of Ella Barnes.
The Islander has stirred up trouble in the villa and has divided fans of the ITV2 dating show.
Ella, a dancer, made a bombshell entrance where she claimed she had history with Tyrique Hyde but quickly failed to pull him away from his villa love, Scottish model, Ella Thomas.
However, her ‘real age’ has left fans shocked.
Ella is just 23 years old with fans questioning if her maturity level really matches up with her age.
One fan said online: “How is Ella B 23??”
Opinion has been divided on the star who is currently coupled up with Mitchel Taylor.
Discussing the controversial Islander, one fan said: “I don’t like Ella B. Ella B is a mean girl and she’s rude. She was rude by trying to pull Mitch while he was having a conversation with Abi.”
One fan held an opposing view, as they penned: “Now looking back, I think Ella B is the most mature person in the villa.”
Ella and Mitchel appear to be on track but have faced criticism from their co-stars about choosing each other to be the “easy option”.
It has led to speculation that the couple have only stuck together in order to further their chances in the show.
Ella has found herself locking horns with many of her villa pals during her short time in the villa including Ella Thomas, Tyrique Hyde, Scott van der Sluis, Abi Brookes and even her villa partner Mitch.
