A Journey from Homelessness to Success

Nella is part of the I’m A Celebrity 2023 line-up. Speaking ahead of entering the jungle, she said: “My family have been laughing hysterically ever since I told them I was taking part. And they asked me why I agreed to do this but I’ve been watching I’m A Celebrity ever since I was a child and I still remember Ian Wright locked up in a room with an Ostrich. It’s so iconic and it’s why I said ‘yes’ immediately.”
Nella also said: “I am terrified but I’m trying to think of the bigger picture. In this life, you have to face up to your fears. Yes, I might scream the whole time but I am going to think about feeding human beings and I am going to try my best.”
Nella also revealed she had never even camped before and said that her time in the jungle would definitely be one “big learning experience”. She also predicted that the strict diet of rice and beans could pose problems. “I am addicted to a lot of things. I can’t have food without having something sweet afterwards,” she said. “I am addicted to honey roasted nuts and fizzy orange drinks, but I am kind of excited to regroup my taste buds.” Nella then added: “You never know I might even have rice and beans when I am back!”
