Love Island star Laura Anderson has shared a video showing the painful bruises she has been left with following the birth of her daughter Bonnie Rose. The 34-year-old welcomed Bonnie into the world on September 2, but hasn't given further details about what happened during labor. She did mention, however, that Bonnie's dad and her ex, Gary Lucy, was left "scared." Laura and Bonnie are now recovering at home after a difficult hospital stay.

The aftermath: Bruises and antibiotics

Taking to Instagram, Laura shared videos of her black and blue bruises on her forearms, likely from cannulas used during childbirth. She also revealed that she needs antibiotics to treat mastitis, a condition involving inflammation and sometimes infection in breast tissue. In the videos, Laura advised against waiting too long to get an epidural, as she regretted not getting one sooner. She also mentioned how she currently has zero visitors due to COVID-19 precautions.

A challenging journey

Laura gave birth to Bonnie on September 2 with Gary by her side, but they waited five days to announce the news. This comes after a difficult pregnancy following their breakup. The former couple, who met on Celebs Go Dating, experienced a bitter split soon after announcing they were expecting. Laura denied Gary's claims that she dumped him because he wouldn't move to Scotland and left fans wondering about the true reason behind their breakup. In an interview with HOAR, Gary expressed his love for Laura and revealed his disappointment when she ended their relationship. However, in a surprising turn of events, they reunited just days before Bonnie's birth and were seen enjoying a dinner together in Scotland. Laura has since remained tight-lipped about the current status of their relationship, focusing on being a new mom to Bonnie.
