Prince William and Kate attended a private church service at St David's Cathedral in Wales, while Prince Charles and Camilla participated in a service in Scotland. Earlier in the day, Prince Harry had also paid his respects at St George's Chapel before departing for Germany, where he will launch the Invictus Games.

A Special Bond Between Mother and Son

Despite being the first-born and heir to the throne, Queen Elizabeth is believed to have had a closer relationship with Prince Andrew, who is 11 years younger. Royal experts have previously suggested that Andrew was the Queen's favorite.

Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, commented, "Andrew has always been the Queen's favorite son, and he has never done anything wrong in her eyes." Journalist Penny Junor added, "I think the Queen has always had a bit of a blindspot when it comes to Prince Andrew."
