LOVE Island fans were all left worried for one Islander after he appeared to ‘disappear’ just days into the brand new series of the programme.
Viewers of the ITV2 dating show were left sharing their concern as the boy appeared to barely feature on the show.
Fans think Mehdi has gone missing
Mehdi was initially in a couple with Ruchee
The Islander in question was none other than French hunk Mehdi Endo.
Mehdi hasn’t had the easiest ride in the villa so far after his original partner, Ruchee Gurung, ditched him on night one after declaring there was no connection between the two.
Since then, the contestant has struggled to make any solid connections and has led fans to declare him ‘missing’ over his lack of screen time since.
Writing on Twitter, one fan said: “Why did I forget that Mehdi is still here.”
Another joked: “Someone make a missing person poster for Mehdi.”
A third penned: “Mehdi is actually missing.”
“Where is Mehdi in all this?,” asked a fourth, before a fifth added: “Where is Mehdi may I ask?”
Despite initially being left happy in a couple with Ruchee, Mehdi accepted the lack of chemistry between the two when Ruchee opted to leave him on the opening night when Maya Jama offered a bombshell chance for the Islanders to escape their couples.
He has attempted to strike up a connection with the show’s latest bombshell Whitney but the jury is still out on if they will manage to find a long lasting connection.
Speaking about finding love on the hit show, Mehdi told ITV: “I’ve been busy for the last few years with work, and doing my Masters degree but now I’m done with the busy schedule, and ready to find love.”
Talking about how he charms the ladies, Mehdi revealed: “I’d simply start by speaking French, that usually gets girls interested.”
An insider previously told HOAR: “Mehdi is the definition of tall, dark and handsome and will be a lot of the girls’ type on paper.
“His smouldering stare and French accent are going to make him one of the most in demand boys in the villa.”
